He then pursued his passion for education teaching and serving in administration at West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas, Central Texas College in Killeen, Texas, Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas and the pinnacle of his career was spent as President of TVCC in Athens, Texas. His last days were spent like much of his life, surrounded by loving family and friends celebrating the impact he had on so many lives.
His love for education guided his entire career, especially his time as the President of Trinity Valley Community College for 21 years until his retirement in 2008. His passion for educational opportunities for all and a true love for TVCC shone in all of his many accomplishments during his time there. He was rarely seen without his signature red bird on his collar.
His greatest accomplishment was a faithful marriage of 57 years and his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his devoted wife Glenda Powell Baugh his son and daughter-in-law Terry and Alicia Baugh, his daughter and son-in-law Tanya and Bryan Gorka, his grandchildren Tucker, Nixon, Elliot and Terra and family Bryce and their daughter Evangelina, his brothers Robert Baugh, Royce Baugh and sister Ruth Ann Baugh Duffy, and his mother-in-law Doris "Mimi" Powell Rogers.
He was greeted in Heaven by his parents Ernest and Ruby Pearl Baugh and numerous family and friends.

I fondly remember growing up with Ronald, Royce, Robert and Ruth Ann. We played cowboys and Indians,
rode our bicycles, hide and seek, shoot jackrabbits with
22s. My sincere condolences to his family.
