Robby Lewis Obituary

Robby Lewis, 77, of Malakoff, passed away in Athens, Texas on Monday, May 27, 2024 after a short illness. Robby and his twin brother, Bobby, were born on May 10, 1947 in Beaumont, Texas to Flonnie and J.L. ("Peanut") Lewis. Besides Bobby, Robby had one older brother, Mickey, and two older sisters, Patricia, and Kay. Robby grew up in Fannett, Texas where he attended Fannett I.S.D. He graduated from Eustace High School after his family re-located to the Malakoff area.

He is preceded in death by his parents J.L. ("Peanut") Lewis and Flonnie Cude; son John Brady Lewis; brothers Bobby Lewis, Mickey Lewis; sister Patricia Kuhn.

He is survived by his daughter Kori Lewis Acevedo and husband Ignacio of Canton, TX, grandchildren Brady Acevedo of Canton, TX, Alex Acevedo and wife Megan of Terrell, TX, great-grandchild Carter. He is also survived by his sister Kay Seamayer, sister-in-law Norma Lewis, nieces Noralee Lewis, Audrey Cravens, nephew Brant Lewis, great-nephews Aaron, Jared, Nathan Cravens, great-great niece Marceline Cravens, and so many other cousins, relatives, and loved ones.

A memorial service for Robby will be held Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home, Malakoff, TX at 10:00 a.m.
