Jo Ann Jones Obituary

Jo Ann Jones, 81, beloved daughter, sister, and "grandma" was called to her eternal resting place on May 8, 2022.

She entered this world on April 30, 1941, in Lampasas, TX, born to Homer and Anna Cook.

She was a member of United Methodist Church of Malakoff.

She is preceded in death by her parents Homer and Anna Cook; siblings Evelyn Hall, Malcom Cook, Oma Lee Faught, Lou Ella Cook, Marg Vest; and granddaughter Skylar Harris.

She is survived by her son Jerry Wayne Jones; daughter Teresa Ann Harris; Vicki Lynn Jones; 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson.

Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Poteet, Tyler Harris, Erik Jones, Blake Jones, Brady Jones, and Andy Yarbrough.

Visitation for Jo Ann will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home from 6 - 8 p.m.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at United Methodist Church of Malakoff at 10 a.m. with Bro. Ed Fisher officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Malakoff Cemetery.
