Visitation for I. Eleise Butcher will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank, Texas. Eleise was born on August 26, 1942 in Granite City, Illinois to parents Coit Sylvester and Bess Genevieve (Walling) King and entered into eternal rest on September 9, 2020 at the age of 78. Eleise loved gardening and animals. She sold Mary Kay and loved collecting things. She collected the letters "E", angels, birdhouses and wind chimes. Eleise was a member of the Red Hat Lady Society, Lady of the Nile in Hurst and also friends of the Athens Library. She kept herself busy, always having a project; mosaic and beads. Eleise was a member of the Athens Presbyterian Church. She was an amazing lady and will be missed immensely by those who knew and loved her.
Elesise was preceded in death by her parents, husband John Butcher I and brother Joe King.
She is survived by her son John Butcher II and wife Paula of Mabank, grandchildren; Melissa Butcher of Austin and Trent Butcher of Garland, son Mark Butcher and wife Kristy of Glen St. Mary, FL, grandchildren; Colton Butcher of Los Angeles, CA, Connor Butcher of Glen St. Mary, FL, Matthew Butcher of Glen St. Mary, FL and Cody Butcher of Glen St. Mary, FL, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
