Services for Flora Dell Price age 102, of Springfield will be held Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at Bois D'Arc Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Drinkard officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mrs. Price died Tuesday at South Place Nursing Home in Athens. She was born February 25, 1914 in Henderson County to J.D. Loper and Verna Gertrude Leake Loper. Mrs. Price was a member of the Bois D'Arc Baptist Church. Mrs. Price taught school for 39 years at WBS, Cayuga, and Stafford Springs School. She enjoyed gardening and sewing.
Mrs. Price was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Basil Price, and a niece, Wanda Hester. She is survived by a niece Dorothy McGee and husband Keith of Springfield, and three great nieces.
Visitation will be held 1 hour before the service at the church.
