Athens - Please join us in mourning the loss and celebrating the life of our wonderful and beautiful mother, Eleanor Landrum, who passed away November 2, 2025, at the age of 88. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday November 15, 2025, at Athens First Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Harrison officiating.

She was the sweetest kind of mother, always supporting and loving us through all our endeavors. We are so very grateful for her care from Athens doctors Gerhardt, McCain, and Takata, and her Tyler cancer doctor Heather Pulaski. We also recognize the kind and tender care from the staff of Arabella, Hospice of East Texas, and Care Big night care providers. We must also tell of our love for Faulk Landrum, who married our widowed mother in 2012 and treated her like a princess every single day. We are comforted by the thought that mom is in Communion with our dad, loved ones, and all the other saints who from their labors rest.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in her name to Athens First Methodist Church 225 Lovers Lane, Athens, Texas 75751.
