Eddie Noella Jackson was born on June 26, 1939 in Athens,Tx., the cherished daughter of Amy and Edward F. Jackson. She passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family and friends on January 6th, 2023 in Cayuga, TX. She was 83 years old. She was a lifelong member of Judson Baptist Church in Cayuga. She graduated from Cayuga High School in 1957. In 1960, she graduated from North Texas with a Bachelor's degree and taught elementary school for 36 years. Noella and Jerry had many adventures throughout the years of different places they had travelled across the states. Her love for her boys was unconditional and their bond unbreakable. She loved being around her grandchildren and on any given weekend you could catch her in the stands cheering them on throughout the years, she rarely ever missed a game. She wrote many treasured poems and knew how to write the best Christmas stories there ever was. She left a legacy of a lifetime and instilled the word of God into each of her children and grandchildren. She was the best wife, mother and Mamaw anyone could ever ask for and the lifetime of memories and love will last forever.

Her home church was Judson Baptist Church, Cayuga. Noella was preceded in death by her parents Amy and Edward F. Jackson, brothers Lavoy Abbe, Lester, Lavanda, and Forest Jackson and her sisters Billie Jackson and Ila Mae Wofford. She is survived by her beloved husband Jerry Wayne Adair of 53 beautiful years. Her Children: John L. and Shelly Adair of Malakoff, Edward Adair of Cayuga, Amanda Smith of DeRidder, Louisiana; Her Grandchildren: Jordan Adair Bowers and husband Casey Bowers of Lufkin, Sheridan Adair Fuller and husband Chase Fuller of Lufkin, Bryson Adair of Malakoff, Jackson and Ruth Adair of Palestine, Sarah Adair of Girdwood, Alaska and Lauren Wilt of Aubrey,Tx; Her great grandchildren: Ryleigh, Easton, Shaun, and Jack Bowers and Braelynn, Noah, Anna and Ester Adair and her very best friend of over 50 years Betty Orr who held a special place in her heart.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 8th 2023 4:00PM- 6:00PM at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home of Palestine, Tx.

Funeral Services will be held on January 9th 2023 at Judson Baptist Church in Cayuga,Tx at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Edwin Bowman officiating. Graveside to follow in Judson Cemetery in Cayuga.

Bryson Adair, Jackson Adair, Casey Bowers, Jimmy Davis, Chase Fuller and Pat Jackson will serve as pallbearers.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home of Palestine
