Billy Mack Ballard
Mr. Billy Mack Ballard was born on March 15, 1930 in Ada, Oklahoma to parents Bowie Chadduc and Lona Francis (Foster) Ballard and entered into eternal rest on October 26, 2017 at the age of 87. Bill attended school in Ada, OK and East Central University in Ada, OK. Billy was known as "Bill" by his family and friends. He married the love of his life, Vada Sue Allen, in Dallas on October 22, 1979. They were married for 29 years until her passing in June of 2008. Bill worked over 20 years for Vanity Fair - Lee Jeans Division. Bill loved playing golf and working in his orchard. Bill was baptized in the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Fort Worth, Texas in 1987. He was an active member serving as deacon and facility elder in Fort Worth. After moving to Eustace, Texas, Bill attended and served as Treasurer and deacon of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Athens, Texas. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Ballard, his parents, brothers; Bowie Ballard, Eugene Ballard and sister JoAnn Huff. He is survived by his son Harmon Ballard and wife Wendy of Colorado Springs, son Bowie Ballard of Dallas, daughter Tina Hornung of Waxahachie, daughter Shelly Rivera of Grand Prairie, daughter Kelly Green of Dallas, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Beverly Kirby and husband Stan Kirby of Eustace, Texas, numerous nieces and nephews, other loving family members and many friends. Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A graveside memorial service will be held in Spring of 2018 in Addington, Oklahoma.
