Billy Don Avant Obituary
Billy Don Avant, 79, passed away on March 1, 2020. He was born on April 14, 1940, in Tool, Texas, to the home of Roland Paschal and Beaula Mae Avant.
Billy was a US Air Force veteran. He retired from Sprint where he supervised the outside field responsible for phone repair and installation. He later became a private contractor. In his spare time he loved riding motorcycles. He was also a sports enthusiast and enjoyed baseball, football, and just about any sport. Billy's greatest treasure was time spent with his kids and grandkids. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Karen; sons Jeffrey Don Avant and Gregory Scot Avant; ten grandchildren Brittany, Lonnie, Mary, Joe, Kaemen, Nick, Maci, Ian, Aryanna, and Hannah; and three great-grandchildren Aaliyah, Kaleb, and Grace.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at the Payne Springs Community Center, 9692 SH 198, Payne Springs, Texas. To leave an online condolence visit www.moorheadepps.com.
