Beau Wyatt Vincent

Events

A celebration of the life of Beau Vincent will be held at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Leagueville Baptist Church in Murchison.
Beau Wyatt Vincent of Katy, TX passed away on Sunday, August 11th in Katy, TX. He finished his freshman year at Faith West Academy.
Beau was born "so big" at nine lbs. 14 oz. in Round Rock, TX on August 26, 2003 and moved to Katy, TX in 2005. Beau was a tender-hearted young man with the gift of mercy. He loved and treated others with kindness purposefully. His friends were kind to vote him "El Presidente" of his class this year. He played sports to be with people and to get the snack afterward. He was known to be funny (surprisingly quick-witted and clever) and just loved the social and culinary aspect of things. He loved gardening and cooking as well as his collections - rocks and coins. Beau was humble about his achievements, but he was an intellectually gifted young man who loved reading, math, and science. His teachers were endeared to him calling him "Mr. Bojangles, Boudreaux, Boudin, Beau W." Once, his piano teacher proclaimed that he was a "true musician" as he could play by ear: he played three instruments: piano, trumpet, and drums and his goal was to add another instrument - guitar. Music brought him great joy and great comfort in life, which he loved to share with others - playing in the marching band and Chapel Band.
Beau loved to explore. He enjoyed riding his bike around the neighborhood with friends, exploring the woods with his family, trying many different sports - baseball, basketball, soccer, track. Over the past year, one of his greatest joys was his youth group friends at Kingsland and Young Life: he would come home so vibrant and so happy and full of purpose and joy. Beau began to have a vision to reach people for the Gospel.
He is survived by his parents, Johnny and Liana Vincent, sister Ella, and brother Zane and an extended family of grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins. His loss creates a chasm in our hearts and we will desperately miss scratching his back every night and his presence in every aspect of our lives. Until Heaven.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Katy Tri-County Young Life or Pine Cove Camp in honor of Beau Vincent, as he spent his last months praising the Lord wholeheartedly with these ministries and encouraging others to do the same. This can be done at Katytricounty.younglife.org / give or pinecove.com/donate/scholarships/
We encourage friends and family to go to the Bible app and find a devotional called Hope Beyond Despair by Julie Gossack. We will grieve and cling to the Lord and each other through the promises found in God's Word. "But, as it is written, what no eye has seen, nor ear has heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love Him" (1 Corinthians 2:9).
