Funeral services for Virgie Tullos Paroline, 92, Athens, have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home Chapel with Ricky Godwin and Rev. Terry Don Adair officiating.
Burial will follow at Red Hill Cemetery.
Virgie passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017 in Dallas.
She was born November 14, 1924 in Henderson County to the late Jodie Wyatt Tullos and Sarah Ann Morrison. She was a resident of Athens most of her life, relocating to Mesquite 14 years ago to be near her daughter. She was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church in Mesquite, and had become a treasured resident of Villages of Lake Highland, just a couple of years ago.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and five sisters.
Survivors include: her daughter, Ruth Yvonne Dower, Mesquite; grandchildren, Nathan Dower and wife Kathleen of Rockwall, Daniel Dower of Murphy; 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; sister, Eva Joe Godwin of Athens; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1-2 p.m., Sunday, June 4, 2017, prior to the service at the funeral home.
