Services for Kenneth Weldon Tull, 78, of Athens are scheduled for 10 a.m., Tuesday at Cool Springs Cemetery in Canton, with Bro. Steve Glosup officiating.
Kenneth passed away May 6, 2017 in Athens, Texas.
He was born October 23, 1938 in Canton to Weldon Gee Tull and Maggie Arvalene Hendley.
Kenneth was born and raised in Canton where he attended school. He was drafted into the Army in 1961, and served as a sharpshooter and engineer until he was discharged as a Sergeant in 1967. Kenneth owned K&C Construction, and was a proud member of the Local Carpenter Union. His hobbies included working at his home and riding horses with the Athens Riding Club.
He is survived by his brother\son, Keith and Linda Tull;granddaughters Kandyce Tull, Kacy Lunceford and Katy Lunceford; great-grandson, Braxton Baker; sisters Virginia and Jackie Ward, Judy and Kenneth Weedin, Sue and David Watson, Angie Shepard; numerous nNieces and nephews; and special friend Barbara Little.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, Weldon and Maggie Tull, and Wife, Lynda Tull.
Family will receive friends Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
