Juanita Jackson, age 89, of Brownsboro was released to her Glory on September 16, 2016. She was a precious Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and friend. Juanita "Neat" as she was called by those close to her, was strong in her faith and even stronger in the love for her family.
She retired from Trane after 26 years of service and made so many friends while working there and beyond.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jack Jackson.
Survivors include, one son Delma Jackson and wife Regina of Murchison; one daughter Linda Long of Brownsboro; Granddaughters, Shannon Smith and husband Ryan of Brownsboro, Valerie Flake and husband Mitch of Alaska; Grandsons Tyra Jackson and wife Tresha of Murchison, Gary Jackson and wife Roseann of Alaska; Great-Grandchildren, Alexander Smith and Zachary Smith of Brownsboro, Eden and Cora Flake of Alaska, Christopher and Aaron Jackson of Alaska and two Great-Great Granddaughters, Raychel and Zelda. Juanita was a loving Aunt and is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home on Monday September 19, 2016 from 4:00-6:00 PM. Funeral services will be at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Chapel on Tuesday September 20, 2016 at 3:00 PM. Burial to follow at New Hope Cemetery in Brownsboro.
