Henry H. Tolusso, Jr., age 69, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on January 3, 2017. Henry was a graduate of Catholic High School of Baton Rouge and earned his bachelor's degree in animal science from LSU. He was married to Kathy Toups Tolusso for the past 47 years. He cared and loved for her until the very end. He retired after 35 years in the insurance business. His devotion to his catholic faith was the guiding foundation for his life. From an early age Henry's love of horses was evident and grew throughout the years. He always wanted to be remembered as a man who "Loved his God and family, worked hard, and raised good horses." He is survived by his wife, Kathy Toups Tolusso; his daughter, Julie Fontenot and husband Christian and their daughters, Reagan "Charlie" and Chloe. He is also survived by his daughter, Holly Guess and husband Sean and their daughters, Audrey and Amelia. His sister, Carolyn Ann Durbin; and numerous loving friends and family. Henry is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Tolusso and Wilbur Mae Williamson. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 15615 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA from 9:30 AM until Mass at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. George Cemetery, 7808 St George Dr., Baton Rouge, LA. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital or St. Joseph Hospice Foundation.
