Funeral services for Evelyn Bostick Pace, 92, Athens have been scheduled for 9:30 A.M. Sunday November 6, 2016 at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Olin Boles officiating.
Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park, Athens.
Mrs. Pace passed away Thursday evening in Tyler.
She was born February 20, 1924 in New York, Texas to the late John Vernon Bostick, Sr. and Mamie Harden Bostick. Evelyn was a lifelong Baptist. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved to cook and spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Theodore Pace, Jr., brother; John Vernon Bostick, Jr., sisters; Ethlean Watson and Elizabeth Jones.
Survivors include her daughter Teddie Pace, Palestine, granddaughters; Jennifer French and husband Neal, Lindsey, Oklahoma, Julie Waldon and husband Dale, Palestine, great-grandchildren; Victoria, Levi, Elizabeth, Bailee, Ella, Silas, Ashley and William, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Shellie Jones, John Jones, Mark Bostick, Levi Baker, Dale Waldon and Silas Waldon.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday from 9:00 to 9:30 A.M. prior to the service.
