Curtis James Trimble was born to the late George Trimble and Baby Ruth Dawson-Toliver on Nov. 30, 1940 in Malakoff. He attended the public schools in Malakoff, and served in the U.S. Army.
As a young man, Jim moved to Colorado, and was employed as a supervisor of Sealy Mattress Company for several years. After residing in Denver, Colorado for more than 40 years, he decided to return to his hometown of Malakoff.
Jim enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved to talk a lot of noise, laugh and joke with those he admired most.
Trimble was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left to cherish his memories are: his daughter, Matilda Warren (Bennie) of Athens; son Keith Trimble (Jackline) of Denver, Colorado; three grandchildren, KaTesha Warren and Shagayla Warren, both of Athens and Kyra Trimble of Denver, Colorado; two great-grandchildren, Tre' Williams and Trinity Davis, both of Athens; and two very special cousins, Homer Ray Trimble and Ruby Jackson. He also leaves to cherish his memories, a host of cousins, relatives and dear friends.
