Wilda's Story

Wilda Gothard of Murchison, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017. She was born in Murchison to William Albert Gothard and Eva Earl Crenshaw on May 17, 1937. Ms. Gothard was affectionately referred to as "Niggie" by her family. Wilda was an X-Ray technician and cared for many people during her career. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Murchison.
Ms. Gothard was preceded in death by her parents as well as her sister Miriam Ray Brown and her brother Leon Gothard.
Wilda is survived by: her sister, Eva Jim Williams and husband Alon; Nieces and nephews, Linda Overturf and husband John, Penny Carson and husband Jim, David Gothard, James Williams, Chuck Williams and wife Lisa, Karen Seacrist and husband George, Debbie Ramsey and husband Craig, Patty Graham and husband Willy, Rena McClain and husband Gordon, A.C. Williams; as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be Monday Evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at First Baptist Church, Murchison, with interment to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park. Services are under the Direction of Autry's Carroll-Lehr.
