Funeral services for Terry Wayne Miller 72, Brownsboro have been scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday December 11, 2016 at Rock Hill Baptist Church in Brownsboro with Rev. Robert Welch officiating.
Private burial will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Tyler under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home, Athens.
Terry passed away Thursday morning in Tyler.
Terry was born September 2, 1944 in Henderson County to the late Earl and Maudine Cox Miller. Terry Wayne was a devout servant unto the Lord, his family and friends. He retired from XTO Energy after 45 years of service. He loved to farm, being outside and spending with his family. Terry never met a stranger and had a strong compassion to share Jesus Christ with everyone he came into contact with.
He was preceded in death by his son Eddy Miller and sister; Earline Harris.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years Carolyn Ann Miller, Brownsboro, daughter; Terri Ann Keese and husband Darren, Bullard, brother; Kenneth Miller and wife Peggy, Brownsboro, sister; Geraldine Denton and husband Tom, Athens, brother-in-law; Gene Dodd, sister-in-law; Brenda Adair, grandchildren; Lance Anding and wife Brianna, Heather Anding, Heather Bates and husband Trevor, Tyler Keese and wife Emily and McKenzie Keese, great grandchildren; Lydia Joy Anding and Charley Rei Bates, and numerous nieces and nephews and lots of friends.
Pallbearers will be Lance Anding, Tom Denton, Darren Keese, Tyler Keese, Carey Miller, Kevin Newbill, Archie Clayton and Frank Hood.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Rock Hill Baptist Church.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the "Benevolence Fund" at Rock Hill Baptist Church 20022 SH 31 East Brownsboro, Texas 75756.
