Ryan Seth Fambrough died on August 28 at the age of 18, in Tyler, Texas, after succumbing to injuries sustained in an automobile crash.
Ryan was born and raised in Athens, Texas, to Randy and Donna Fambrough. He was a member of the Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and looked forward to serving as a full time minister. He wasn't out for fame, fortune, or glory, but instead valued sharing the knowledge he had of the Bible with others. Among the teachings he cherished was the Bible's hope of living forever in paradise on earth and seeing the dead resurrected, a hope which enabled him to remain faithful to the end. He was a humble and mild individual who put others interests ahead of his own, making friends with people of all ages and backgrounds.
He loved the arts, including playing the piano and won many different awards for drawings and paintings in school.
Ryan is survived by his parents, Randy and Donna Fambrough; uncle, Michael McDonald; uncle and aunt, Jerry and Lia Phillips; Aunt, Cynthia Gabel; cousin, Justin Gabel, and all those who dearly loved him.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Andy Fambrough and Nell Scott, Dean and Patsy McDonald; Uncle, Matthew McDonald.
The family wishes to expresses their gratitude to the 3rd floor Surgical ICU team at ETMC Tyler, that worked tirelessly and skillfully to the end. We'd also like to thank the many friends who offered their support and comfort.
A memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 3650 NE Loop 7, Athens, Texas 75751, Sunday, Sept, 3rd, at 5 p.m. Tony Long officiating.
