Funeral services for Larry Ned Williams 78, of Mansfield have been scheduled for 2:30 P.M. Saturday February 2, 2019 at Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brian McWhorter officiating.
Burial will follow at New York Cemetery.
Mr. Williams passed away Monday January 28, 2019 in Mansfield.
Larry was born in Dallas, Texas to the late Edward Clyde and Sarah Emma Carter Williams. Larry grew up and graduated high school in the Rylie Community in Dallas. He was a graduate of TCU receiving his bachelor's degree in 1967 and was a big TCU football fan. Larry spent his career in the Insurance Industry which spanned 50 years. Larry enjoyed exploring nature, fishing and traveling but above all he loved attending his grandchildren's events.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter; Kimberly Dawn Williams in 1967 and siblings; Clarence, Mary, Edith, Fay, Doris and Dan.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years Glenda Williams of Mansfield, daughters; Brandy Hudson and husband Scott of Mabank, Denise Olson and husband Greg of Combine, son; Melvin Williams of Mesquite, stepchildren; Jon Matthews and wife Michelle of Grapevine, Danielle Yacenda and husband Drew of Mansfield, grandchildren; Ryan, Sarah, Logan, Adam, Tate, Kaitlyn, Haley, Luke, Trey, Casey and Eden, great grandchildren; Dawson and Annie, sister; Pat Friedrich of Mancos, Co., brother; Mack Williams and wife Linda of Canton and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Scott Hudson, Jon Matthews, Drew Yacenda, Robbie Richardson, Russ Richardson and Tate Matthews.
Honorary pallbearers are Greg Olson, David Riker and Jonray Hilton.
