Services for Kerry Gamble, 53, of Athens, Texas will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Leonard Jackson officiating. There will be a private family burial to follow.
Mr. Gamble went to be with the Lord on May 1, 2017 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on June 29, 1963 in Grand Bay, Alabama to Willie Mae and Lennox Gamble. He was a 1981 graduate of Mobile County High School, moving to Henderson County shortly thereafter. He was a dedicated member of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, and a member of the male chorus.
He is preceded in death by: parents, Willie Mae (Allen) and Lennox Gamble; sister, Ana D. Gamble; brother, Leon Gamble; and nephew, Kerry Gamble.
Survivors include: devoted wife, LaTonya Williams-Gamble; loving daughters, Crystal Gamble-Jones (Randy) and Natavia Gamble; beloved sons, Kerry T. Gamble and Randall Gamble; brothers, Lennox Gamble, Jr. (Alabama), Willie Gamble (Athens) and Edward Gamble (Alabama); sisters, Evelyn Peyton (Alabama), Barbara Williams (Alabama) and Geraldine Pettaway Carter (Alabama); three grandchildren, Rhyan Nykole Jones, Rheigan LaShaye Jones and Randall Gamble, Jr.; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends and visitors at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday May, 6 2017.
