Inez T. Green
Inez was born January 20, 1923 to E.A. Tanner and Minnie Lee Tanner in Malakoff, TX.
Inez was a faithful member and servant at First Baptist Church, Malakoff. She taught Sunday school for many years and was in Senior Bells. She retired from the Department of Agriculture Stabilization & Conservation Service and retired from Malakoff ISD. She was a member of the Texas Retired Teachers Association.
She was preceded in death by her parents, E. A. Tanner and Minnie Lee Tanner, brothers; Richard Tanner, Jack Tanner, E. A. Tanner Jr., C. W. Tanner, Carl L. Tanner, Donald Tanner, sisters; Coriene Tanner, Velma Johnson, Doris Tanner, and Maggie Tanner.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 69 years Bill Green, daughter Paula and husband Rickey Allinen of Corsicana, TX, daughter Tina and husband Malcolm Quattlebaum of Athens, TX, sister Loretta Petty of Fort Worth, TX, sister-in-law; Opal Tanner of Malakoff, TX, sister-in-law; Wanda Tanner of Malakoff, TX, granddaughter Crystal Allinen of Corsicana, TX, grandson; Randy and wife Melinda Quattlebaum of Pryor, OK, great-grandchildren Kaleb, Kaden, Keaton, and Krosby Lyles, Emma, Jenna, and Luke Quattlebaum, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive family and friends at the visitation scheduled for Sunday, February 10 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at First Baptist Church, Malakoff, TX.
Service will be 2:00 PM Monday, February 11, 2019 at First Baptist Church, Malakoff. Officiating the service will be Bro. Jody Jones, Bro. Casey Perry, and Bro. Larry Blackmon.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Tanner, John Tanner, Joel Tanner, Mahlon Tate, Donnie Garrett, Graham Bullard, Val Quattlebaum, and Jeff Quattlebaum.
Interment will be in the Malakoff Cemetery.
