Helen  Fayrene Tiner


Helen Fayrene Tiner, 93 of Flint went home to her Heavenly Father June 8, 2019. She was born May 13, 1926 in Murchison to Arthur Lee Roy Hopkins and Allie Alma Aaron Hopkins. Helen is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Warren Anderson Tiner, her parents, brothers Joe Dan Hopkins, Mack Arthur Hopkins, sisters Alma Lee Thompson, Katherine Herridge, Opal McCool. She is survived by her daughter Brenda Tiner (Mike) of Bedford, son Jerry Tiner of Flint, sister Bonnie Holsomback, Frankston, sister-in-law Rose Hopkins, Oil City LA, many nieces and nephews. Helen loved the Lord and spent many hours studying the Bible. If you had a question on scripture just ask Mom! She also loved her family, cooking for holidays and special occasions, old fashioned gospel singing, and drawing. Helen was one of the original "Rosie The Rivetors" for General Dynamics as Lead Inspector and Rivetor, DQ and retired from property management with C21 Tidmore. She is greatly missed and will always be in our hearts. A private service will be at Davis Cemetery, Baxter

So sorry to hear of her passing. I remember her as her parents went to my dad's church in Athens many years ago. May God wrap his arms of Love, Strength and Comfort around you during this time.
