Gwendolyn Arlene Finley Gwendolyn Arlene Finley, 70, of Lubbock and formerly of Henderson County, died Monday, Nov. 5. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 at Trinidad United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Finley was born April 20, 1948, in Denton. She married Thomas Finley on Sept. 23, 1971. The family moved to the Cedar Creek Lake area in 1976. In 1989 she started a volunteer program at Trinidad ISD and later worked for the district. She retired from First State Bank in 2015. Mrs. Finley was a member of Trinidad United Methodist Church and served as the churchs treasurer for 22 years. In 2016, she moved to Lubbock to be closer to family. Mrs. Finley loved to read, garden, cook and do volunteer work.

Mrs. Finley is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Ashley Finley of Lubbock; brother, Ronald Dee Milton of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Deirdre and John Cutarelli of Cardington, Ohio; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Cindy and Steve Block of Hurst; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Lana Finley of Grapevine; two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otha Dee and Oleta Milton; husband, Tom Finley; and daughter, Heather Finley.

Honorary pallbearers include Chad Rounsavall, Kellen Rounsavall, Ryan Renteria, Rick Stanfield, Zack Stanfield and Kyle Summerhill.

Sorry, to hear of Gwen's passing. She and her family was neighbors to my family when I was growing up. She was always very nice and pretty.
