Dollie DeLeon Brown, 77, passed away on December 29, 2017.
Funeral Services were held on January 2, 2018 in Bertram, Texas.
Dollie was born and raised in Bertram, Texas to Brack and Minnie De Leon. She worked as a coder in hospital administration at East Texas Medical Center. In 1999 she moved back to Bertram and a few years later married Richard Brown. Together they enjoyed many memorable trips to Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Alaska and Hawaii. They once attempted a trip to England, however that was stopped by a volcano eruption in Iceland. She loved to bake and was know to take pies and cakes to the EMTs and firemen at the local fire station. Dollie loved and served in the Church of Christ for many years and will be missed by many family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Brack L. and Minnie Heine DeLeon and one baby sister, Patsy Jean DeLeon.
Dollie is survived by her husband of 12 years, Richard Brown; children, Tommy Campbell and wife Debbie, Donna Sims and husband Tony, and John Campbell; sister, Linda Cox; grandchildren, Chase Campbell and wife Candice, Christy Swan and husband Joey, Ariel LaPorte and husband Jeffrey, Nathan Sims, John Thomas Campbell and Justin Campbell; great grandchildren, Caleb Campbell, Cayden Campbell and Brayson Swan and multiple nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Chase Campbell, Jeffrey LaPort, Joey Swan, Roger Cox, Rory Cox and Richard Cox.
Arrangements under the care of Edgar & Jenkins Funeral Home, Burnet, Texas.
