Delton L. Worley, 71, of Tyler, Texas passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016, after a brief illness.
He was born on April 5, 1945 in Whitney, Texas to Travis Worley and Jeannie Wilson.
Delton was a retired business owner. He attended Kerens High School. He was a Christian and attended the Baptist church. A true NASCAR racing fan and also loved spending time outdoors. He is survived by his beloved wife, Janet Worley of Tyler; two sons, Dean Worley and wife Annmarie of Athens and David Worley of Azle; brother, Tommy Worley and wife Susan of Malakoff; sisters, Debbie Rasner and husband Robert of Waco and Kimberly Lowe and husband Robert of Dallas; brothers-in-law, Robert Orr of Tyler and Gary Orr of The Woodlands; two grandsons, Brandon and Darrick, and numerous nieces and nephews; and two best friends, Butch McMillan and Craig Grisham.
He was preceded in death by his father, Travis Worley of Powell and mother, Jeannie Wilson of Waco, and oldest brother Winston and sister-n-law Joyce Worley.
Memorial services will be held at a later date and notices will be posted for those who would like to join together and celebrate a wonderful father, husband, brother and friend.
