Connie Sayas Willingham age 74, of Murchison passed away on September 6, 2016. She was born on November 8, 1941 to Rudolph Sayas and Ruth Dixon Sayas.
Connie worked for many years as a nursing aide for nursing homes in the area. In her later years she was a baker and enjoyed this very much.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lloyd Willingham; son Jacinto (Jay) Martinez; brother, Tino Sayas; sister-in-law Teresa Sayas.
Survivors include Gerald Duncan; son Freddy Martinez; daughters, Ruth Ann Schrum and husband Patrick, Carolyn Vasquez and husband Miguel; a brother Rudy Sayas; her grandchildren, Melony Martinez Borella, Michael Martinez, Rocky Martinez, Madison Martinez, Amber Martinez, Jessica Martinez Jackson, Katie Knight and husband Cody, Kristina Howard and husband Luke, Kassidy Fuller, Joshua Vasquez and wife Adalia, Anthony Vasquez and wife Megan, Erica Vasquez; her great-grandchildren Ariel Jackson, Taz Jackson, Ava Robles, Larry Rittenhouse, Katelynn Knight, Lucas Howard, Lily Howard, Lynleigh Howard, Andrew Vasquez, Yazmyne Vasquez, Samuel Vasquez, Donovan Vasquez, Jensen Vasquez, Julian Torres, and a baby girl on the a way.
Family visitation will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday September 10, 2016 at Carroll-Lehr Funeral home, with funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Shelby Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Alzheimer's Association.
